Yes, well, alright, the thought had crossed her mind, but she barely knew the man, so it was to be expected. And, well, there was the whole homicidal tendency that Wonderland as a whole seemed to share.
“I suppose they do take a long time to tend. But really, so does anything that’s worth doing. Gardening takes a lot of time and effort, but in the end, you’re bringing beauty into the world. I think that’s worthwhile.”
Sighing quietly, his lips turn downward and he resumes his cool expression. “Perhaps, then, you should pay more attention." His voice is deep and raspy, and not at all amused with her. How in the world has she survived this long in this place? "I’ve been following behind you for quite some time.” Glancing over at the flowers, his face does not change. Gardening, at its core, is frivolous, unless one used it as a means of support–like selling flowers. “I do not see the point in manipulating nature when wild chaos is much more preferable.”
