❝I’m just as surprised as you are, Vincent.

Hojo really was. He often wondered how he managed to survive that battle against them. The only logical — or somewhat logical, at least — explanation is that the JENOVA cells inside him allowed him to survive somehow, someway. But there was only one problem… he had a severe case of poisoning because of injecting himself with such a treacherous thing. And because of that, he had to take medication on a daily basis to prevent anything bad from happening to him. More or less getting worse, so to speak.

A soft breath exhaled from his lips as he turned his head to the side a bit, thinking of what to do or perhaps even say. He knew what to say, well… sort of, but it was a matter of phrasing it.  His train of thought was very much different than that of most.

An unamused huff puffs against a high black collar.  Here, again, they must have this conversation, and he has always abhorred having to repeat himself.  Enough is enough.  The ridiculous cycle of the Planet seems to dislike having such a man within her.
Crying shame the crust did not want him, either.
Regaining his composure, the wall is back: steeled eyes, mouth pressed to a thin line, shoulders squared off.  The mask is put in place, the quiet killer, with long, raven hair blowing in the charred wind of this dystopia.  Entropy had taken Midgar long ago, but clearly it did not take everything.  “I don’t care.”
His voice is flat, low, and gravelled.  A deep-seated hatred is all that could be found for this…insect.  Using Lucrecia, using Sephiroth, using him; murdering all three of them.  Hojo, the genius extraordinaire with too many fallacies; Lucrecia, with the ability to see and use her thoughts to her advantage however radical; and Vincent, the bodyguard who had barely graduated high school.  He had often been scorned for his inability to learn as other children did, and most of the high and mighty scientists thought no different; let the body take the bullet, and let us continue on with our work in the name of science.  But she had been different, had come to know the body, even if only because of his father, but she had tried.  And he had fallen for her.
     And this roach killed her.’
